He Made the Worlds

He Made the Worlds

He Made the Worlds is a sermon teaching  us that the Son of God made the worlds. Where did everything come from and how did it all start? We live in time. Time is  a measurement that has a beginning and it will end. Every moment we have is deliberate and precious, don’t waste it.

We learn of origin from ancient texts and science. The bible is 6,000 years old and is our source of origin by a creator. Francis Collins is the former director of the human genome project. After studying the complexity of our origin, he was lead to believe in a creator and was converted from an atheist to a believer in Christ. Even the Declaration of Independence acknowledges God’s existence.

If Jesus Christ is the originator of all things and keeps all things moving in perfect order, and if He sacrificed Himself for our sins, isn’t He worthy of our trust, faith, and following him?

He Made the Worlds sermon starts with verses from Hebrews 1:1-4:

1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
