I Will Bless the Lord at All Times

I Will Bless the Lord at All Times

I Will Bless the Lord at All Times is a sermon teaching us that you can surrender your heart, all your cares, and worries to God and trust that He will take care of you. You can rely on His promise to deliver you from all your fears.

Psalm 34, written by David, is comforting especially to those who are ill and suffering. David wrote Psalm 34 when he was surrounded by his enemies and said he would bless the Lord at all times, when things are good and when they’re bad. We ought to praise God continually and avoid boasting and bragging. We should be encouraging each other with words of praise and testimony.

Praise God so people with know who He is and lift up His name. Today, the name “Jesus Christ” has for many people become a swear word and a word of disdain. That ought not to be, we should be praising and lifting up His name. When you seek the Lord, He will hear you, just as David did and the Lord delivered him from his fears. God sends the Angel of the Lord to be with you and will never leave. He sends His angels to comfort and protect you.

Trust in the Lord and know that He will deliver you. God has promised to always be with you to deliver you and take care of you. Those that seek the Lord shall not want. The Lord calls to us teach us about Himself. He wants us to learn about Him.

We all love life and want to live a long, good life. But how do you live a good life? Scripture instructs us to not say evil things to or about people. Be honest people so that others see us as doing good. Flee from evil and focus on doing good. God would have us to do good and to do good to other people. We are to desire and chase after peace and be at peace with everyone.

The eyes of the Lord are open to the righteous. God can see you and what’s going on in your life. He sees trouble when it comes your way. The Lord knows all about what you’re going through and will save you when you cry out to Him. When troubles are so great that you suffer tremendous loss as with the death of a loved one, when trouble is at the point when it doesn’t look like it will ever be alright, know that God is close by. The Holy Spirit will comfort you.

When you live for God there is no guarantee there will be no trouble. When you live godly you will be persecuted. But God will bring you out of your troubles and persecutions. When the Lord Jesus was severely beaten and crucified, not one of his bones was broken as prophesied. This was the Lamb of God and God fulfilling all His promises. Every detail of the Lord’s crucifixion is prophesied in the Old Testament, from what He went through to what He said, to the people around Him and what they did.

There are people that are intent on doing evil. They know what they do is wrong but choose to do it anyway. Every day we hear about the evil people do to others. You don’t sin and get away with it, you either ask for forgiveness or die in your sin. Even forgiven of sin, you must bear the consequences of your actions because there are results from doing wrong. They that hate the righteous and are against those that try to do God’s work and do good, shall be made desolate in their sin.

Trust the Lord and be saved. No matter what happens in this life you know your soul has been saved. You know you have a home in Heaven. And none of them who trust in Him shall be made desolate, you will not be left alone. God is ever-present. There is not a time in your life when you can’t find Him. Sometimes it feels that way, “how can this be happening to me?” but the Lord will deliver you.

Jesus Christ is the Good Shepherd and knows each of His flock by name and cares for each of us. You can surrender your heart, your cares, and your worries to Him and trust that He will take care of you. Bless the Lord at all times and help others with your testimony. He will deliver you from all your fears.

I Will Bless the Lord at All Times sermon starts with verses from Psalms 34:1-22:

1 (A Psalm of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed.) I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

2 My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.

3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.

4 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

5 They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.

6 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

9 O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.

11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

12 What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?

13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.

14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.

16 The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

17 The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

18 The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

21 Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.

22 The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
